ocio-economic development
- Grina Technologies
The principals of Grina Technologies
have been involved in social and business issues for
a life time. We offer the Renaissance
Experience. While the classical meaning relates to the
humanistic revival of classical art, architecture, literature,
and learning that originated in Italy in the 14th century
and later spread throughout Europe; we modernize the
term to mean in-depth knowledge in every aspect of life
including but not limited to neuro-economics, system
dynamics, artificial intelligence, health science, information
technology, social science, behavioral science, rocket
science, architecture, engineering, transportation and
supply chain logistics and everything in between.
Grina Technologies is involved in various
stages with different countries
to bring sustainable socio-economic development to developing
countries. Some of the activities are listed below.
Since it is a requirement that we also bring in product
and services from the developed countries, they are
also listed here. The interaction benefits both sides
as it also provides jobs to the first world countries.
It is a multi-way symbiotic relationship that benefits
all parties. Those who are not listed here either are
not interested to participate to improve their economy
or we have not contacted them. This page will be updated
frequently, so please feel free to visit often. We are
well networked with a large number of businesses and
governments all across the globe.
Our socioeconomic design is based on
a test case during the early 80s in the Peoples Republic
of China. Because the ideas presented to the Chinese
still works and propelled China to the economic miracle
seen today, we think this would work for any country.
We have also added a social and technology component
to those ideas for even faster growth.
It is our observation that developing
countries have difficulty collecting knowledge that
is developed by others and already available. There
is a tendency for them to reinvent the wheel. At the
same time, no business will provide that knowledge free
without due compensation for time and effort. Within
that just exchange there are sophisticated charlatans
who take the gullible for a ride. Even highly reputable
organizations end up offering bogus solutions for unknown
reasons. We know one very reputable and very large university
that have been providing advisory to several African
countries for the last 30 years with minimal or negative
result.
It is also our observation that developing
countries do not receive proper help from developed
countries like America. That is because our chamber
of commerce are always skeptical of receiving any reciprocal
benefit from the developing countries. To be blunt,
if a poor country can not buy 20 large Boeing jets,
we are not interested in dealing with them. This is
a pure business sense rather than any prejudice on the
part of the rich country. Even WorldBank
and IMF have caused untold misery to poor
countries without meaning to. That is because, they
do not understand the complex dynamics of the World.
The same lack of understanding of the
System
Dynamics, also creates problems in developed countries.
In America, the world saw how poorly we managed the
aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and Rita disaster even
though we should have been prepared after 9/11/2001
terrorism incident. On the economic side, America spends
billions of dollars in promoting trade and business
through various organizations such as the Department
of Commerce, International Trade Administration, various
chamber of commerce in almost every city, country and
state, and many other related organizations. When we
asked for help in promoting economic development to
developing countries, no one
was interested, even though that very process would
help American companies to export more product and services.
Luckily, we have worked directly with private companies
in the past and hence were able to contact them to get
involved in new projects.
Because America is outsourcing
most of its products and services, there is room for
rapid growth in developing countries. However, this
window of opportunity will not last very long. As America
continues its trade deficit at $2
Billion per day, in a few years, there will not
be any jobs left for Americans to earn enough money
to buy imported products. Like feeding a cow to get
milk, if a poor country wants to be rich, the best way
to do so, is to engage with America (and UK, Germany
etc.). To engage with America, do not expect any help
from the government or the Chambers. The only way is
through private companies like us and our partners that
understand the complex Business Dynamics and International
Operations.
In case of the socio-economic development
of a country, more often than not, outside experts who
provide so called valuable service do not understand
the following parameters:
Culture and the People (Social) aspect variables.
System Dynamics and time-domain analysis.
Neuro-economics model.
Complexity Science.
Variables that provide different weights than the experts
experience.
Outside environment and its influence on future internal
processes.
Information flow and its quality.
Human decision making process both internal and external
– the “now” model.
Human decision making process both internal and external
– the “dynamic” model.
Information utilization efficiency and nodal/inter-nodal
properties.
Agility and domain instability.
Advanced Reasoning Agent Based Technology.
Long term effects of short term benefits.
Hidden agendas as Trojans.
Non-linear aspect of events and progress or lack of
progress.
Separation of classes between Rich and Poor.
...And the list goes on.
UPDATE: We will use USA services
to enhance our activities in Africa.
